Karly Anderson, ABOC
Karly has been in the eye care field for thirteen years and is excited to start her 10th year with Third Avenue Eyecare. She is an American Board of Opticianry certified optician and loves being part of the process of helping patients improve their vision. For her, it’s very rewarding improving the daily quality of patients lives through great vision.
In her spare time she enjoys camping, golfing, playing guitar and spending time with her family.
Third Avenue Optical was blessed when Mindy joined the team in 2017. Mindy is eager to answer your optical questions, help with frame selection and help you choose the lenses that are right for you.
Mindy was born and raised in Iowa and moved to Colorado in 2012 (Go Hawks!) When not at work Mindy enjoys spending time with her boyfriend and her pups.
Carla joined Third Avenue Eyecare summer of 2018. With 4 years of experience in pediatrics, she is very excited to be working with various age groups to help with all your vision needs. She can assistant in optical and front desk, along with being bilingual can attend to our Spanish speaking patients.
Outside of work, Carla enjoys playing soccer, fetching with her fur baby Milo, and binge watching Netflix shows.

Hours and Directions
Myth: Wearing glasses too much will make the eyes “dependent” on them.
Fact: Refractive errors (near-sightedness, far-sightedness, or astigmatism) change as kids get older. Many variables come into play, but most of this change is likely due to genetics and continues despite wearing glasses earlier or later or more or less. Wearing glasses does not make the eyes get worse.
